5th Nanotechnology Conclave 2010 14th & 15th April 2010 Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi, India,Event Partner: OSKE, Finland

Nanotechnology is one of the most exciting technological developments that the world has seen for generations. Scientists and business community are keen on this new technology as they see it as a revolutionary step that will enter nearly every industry. Already nanotechnology products are available in the world market. Industry has to adopt and embrace this new technology as this might change the market dynamics in future.
CII is the apex body bringing industries together for mutual growth by way of knowledge sharing, strives to connect contemporary research and industries in Nanotechnology in India
The Nanotechnology Conclave is the annual flagship event to bring technologists, scientists, academicians and end users in an intellectual platform for discussing the various aspects of developments and collaboration, exploring the possibilities of Indian industry to take part in the research of nanotechnology related products and identification of possibilities for industry from partner countries for initiating and setting up new ventures. For the year 2010, the conclave is to be held on the 14th and 15th of April at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi in partnership with OSKE, a fixed term special programme of the Government of Finland.

International Conference on “NANO Technology – Materials & Composites for Frontier Applications” 14th & 15th October, 2010 – Pune, India

NANO Imagination
WHAT IS NANOSCIENCE AND NANOTECHNOLOGY?
Nanoscience involves research to discover new behaviors and properties of materials with dimensions at the nanoscale which ranges roughly from 1 to 100 nanometers(nm).
Nanotechnology, shortened to “Nanotech”, is the study of the control of matter on an atomic and molecular scale. Generally nanotechnology deals with structures of the size 100 nanometers or smaller, and involves developing materials or devices within that size.
Nanotechnology is very diverse, ranging from novel extensions of conventional device physics, to completely new approaches based upon molecular self-assembly, to developing new materials with dimensions on the nanoscale, even to speculation on whether we can directly control matter on the atomic scale.
There has been much debate on the future of implications of nanotechnology. Nanotechnology has the potential to create many new materials and devices with wide-ranging applications, such as in medicine, electronics, and energy production etc. Similarly composite products have tremendous scope in aeroscope, defence and automobile sector with the concept of high strength / light wieght.
