Job Responsibilities:
An attempt to design and develop the Bio-Medical and Electronic Equipment, Maintenance and troubleshooting matters ..etc. In Hospitals, which give an indication of Bio-Medical equipments to make operation effective in simple manner and explaining the operation and applications of medical equipments to the user departments, i.e. Doctors, Technicians, Nursing dept. and Critical care units.

Responsibilities:
 Maintenance & Servicing of Bio-Medical equipments like Bedside Monitors, Defibrillators, ECG machines Pacemakers, All ECG.
 Maintenance & Servicing of Bio-Medical equipments like SpO2, Temperature cables, Color Dopplers, Ultra Sound machines, Surgical Diathermy units, Anaesthesia ventilators.
 Maintenance & Servicing of Bio-Medical equipments like Medical Ventilators, Blood Gas & Electrolyte Analysers, Stress Test machines,Heart Lung machines.
 Maintenance & Servicing of Bio-Medical equipments like IABP Machines,Infusion & Syringe Pumps, Dialysis units, X-ray machines & Film processors, Automated Laboratory Analysers, Various Lab equipments.
 Maintenance & Servicing of Bio-Medical equipments like Warmers, Incubators.
 Maintenance of PPM schedules for all Biomedical Equipments.
 Participates in the installation and commissioning of Bio-Medical Equipments.
 Performs preventative and breakdown maintenance of Bio-Medial Equipments.
 Giving training to users about the equipments to make sure that correct and safe use of equipments.
 Performs or assists in clinical procedures and measurements.
 Monitoring and controlling of performance and costs of Bio-Medical Equipments by maintaining tracking reports.
 Keep the information up-to-date about the new Bio-Medical Technology or any major issues to all key users of the Manipal Hospitals by sending communication mails on regular basis as per the process.
 Maintaining fault tolerance and minimizing repeated issues which will occur in Bio-Medical equipments efficiently so as to ensure committed uptime.
 Providing good technical support and guidance to my team members and maintaining healthy relationship with my colleagues and sharing the best practice to achieving goals.
 Developing and maintaining positive relationship with other business lines and support areas to maintain one team philosophy.
